Final Blogg Conclusion

Through out what we have seen, we can say that the cultural food of an specific country characteristic that can differ a country from other countries. Food in Colombia is different from food all the way from France and for Colombians, maybe, what French people eat is strange for them for example eating snails. The point is that food, the plates, the specialities of a certain country or region makes the country or region what it really is, it makes it unique and different from the others. We talked about Scandinavian food, Spanish food, Mexican food, Italian food, Colombian food and also French food. And we all realized that they have certain different characteristics from each other. And realize that the different plates in one same country have certain common features, for example: Mexican food have in common that many plates contain guacamole or have spicy features. To finish this up, food is not only something that you eat, it can be also a feature that leads to the different aspects that the countries may have.

French Cultural Food

French food is known as the most sophisticated and elegant food in the world. France is the home of the best plates known world wide, in fact, many people with a good taste travel from around the world specifically to France for food. Well, not just only food but also for fashion, shopping, or visiting family but food in France could be the reason for why people travel to France and its plates and restaurants attract costumers and foreigners. Let's start with a special dessert called macaroons. A macaroon contains: confectioners' sugar, almond flour, egg whites, cream of tartar, and superfine sugar. This "cookie" can have many fillings for example, chocolate, coconut, peanut, pistachio, raspberry, or swiss meringue buttercream. This next plate is called "les escargots" which is a plate based on snail meat. Yes, it is a little strange for some viewers to see and admire that french people eat snails, but it is a delicious and exotic plate.

Chinese Cultural Food

Chinese Food has very well known types of plates known through out the whole world. Chinese plates vary through out the different regions in China, just like in Colombia and in many other countries. Starting with the most common plate, the Chinese fried rice, is a special rice only seen in the country of China but it has many imitations like the Japanese rice, etc. Chinese fried rice is a mixture of onions, oil, eggs, soy sauce, sesame oil, boneless pork or chicken, carrots, peas, cooked rice, green onions, bean sprouts, and light soy sauce. All of this ingredients combines together make a delicious and splendid taste that will make for sure make you want to repeat. Next, comes the famous Chinese egg roll. The egg roll contains one package of egg roll wrappers, its fillings have, pork, sliced onions, celery, mushrooms, chestnuts, cabbage, green onions, bean sprouts, and soy sauce. The fillings in the egg rolls may vary, for example, some times it contains shrimp, ham, but never beef because China is not much of a beef loving country, most of the times is pork instead of meat beef.

Colombian Cultural Food

Warning the following pictures or texts may give you a harsh sensation of hungriness.
All over around the world food has been a original and specific speciality the differentiates and makes a country what it is. Its one of the traits that differ countries from other countries. Its not only food, its an speciality shared by us humans. Its also what keeps us alive and energetic.
Colombian Cuisine is very diverse and varies depending on the different regions of Colombia. For example in the city of barranquilla is common the "Sancocho" which is a typical soup that contains yuca, meat, banana, oil, corn, and water. While in other regions for example the city of Medellin, its common "la bandeja paisa" which is a mixture of white rice with chorizo, frijoles, egg, arepa, avocado, zero, carne molida, and patacon. Other Colombian specialities are empanadas, deditos, caribanolas, arroz de coco and morcilla. Around the world there are different recipes for making this typical Colombia plates for example in Venezuela empanadas and deditos are seen too. There are Colombian shops in many cities all around the world so people can simply experience the taste of the famous Colombian typical special plates like the ones mentioned below.

Italian Cultural Food

Warning the following images may give you highly filings of hungriness.
We've talked about many cultural foods from all around the world, in which one specific plate is known and prepared world wide. I've mentioned delicious foods from Mexico, Scandinavia, and Spain. But today we are touching the delicious, elegant, and famous Italian Food. We are going to start with the lasagna. The lasagna is a very well known Italian plate that contains  sweet italian sauce, lean ground beef, onion, crushed garlic, tomato paste, tomato sauce, white sugar, dried basil leaves, fennel seeds, salt, ground black pepper, fresh chopped parsley, lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese,  eggs, sliced mozzarella cheese, and grated parmesan cheese. Secondly we will be talking about the ingredients of the famous italian pizza. First of all pizza is based on a special flat bread in which it contains on top which ever topping you like  for example different types of cheeses, sauces, meats, mushrooms, vegetables, etc. And last we are going to talk about pasta with meat balls. This pasta is made with delicious italian sauce accompanied with meatballs usually two meatballs.

Scandinavian Cultural Food

We've talked about really world-wide common plates for example Spanish food: Gazpacho, Paella, and Mexican food like: Quesadilla, burrito and taco. Today we are going to talk about a different culture-type food. This food is not really that common in different countries but still its a common cultural plate. Today we are talking about Scandinavian food. We will be focusing specially in three traditional Scandinavian plates. They are: The Danish apple cake, Pebbernodder and Sandpakkels. The Danish apple cake contains cinnamon, butter, whip cram, sugar, and apple sauce that contains sliced apples. It also contains crumbs and basically the Danish apple cake is a normally eaten for dessert and it is also decorated with red jelly. The Pebbernodder is another Sandinavian dessert that contains flour, butter, vanilla, sugar, white pepper, and chopped almonds. This are formed into roles with about 1/2 inches in diameter. The Sanbakkels are also a scandinavian dessert that include butter for the softness, shortening, sugar, eggs and flour. They have a shell-like form. This Skandinavian desserts are world-wide known but not as much as the Spanish or Mexican food.

Mexican Cultural Food

In Mexico, many different types of plates pass through the mouths of different ethnical people. It is seen in different places around the world. Most of the recipes of Mexican food contain spicy condiments. Examples of Mexican plates can be the famous burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, guacamole, etc. Burrito are a recipe based on a soft tortilla surrounding different foods, the most common fillings are onions, jalapeños, black beans, meat, chicken, sour cream, and maybe cheese. Tacos are hard tortilla formed in a triangle-shaped like figure in where meat or chicken is found accompanied by vegetables sour cream, guacamole and other kind of sauces. the quesadillas are based in a tortilla flattened with cheese, meat, chicken, beans, and kinds of sauces like guacamole, sour cream, etc. Guacamole is a sauce with a mixture of avocado, tomato, onion, salt and pepper. It is a common sauce used in almost all of the Mexican typical cultural plates. Mexican food are recipes known world-wide and many people actually enjoy eating it.

Introduction

Introduction to my New Blog:

In different countries, different cities, different continents, and specially different cultures, food has become a speciality that differentiates the nation from other nations. It makes the place unique, or it makes the place what it is. Food is not just something that you eat, it's more than that. Food represents or can show you what an specific culture is like or you can start making a picture in you mind of what can be the characteristics of the unique culture. If you are interested in food or how does the food reflect and makes you know better a culture, then this is the right place were information of this subject are inserted in your mind and help you learn about a culture without not exactly giving you information about that culture in which you are interested in. "A picture tells more than one thousand words." This quote fits in this blog but intend of a picture a simple description of a typical food can tell you a lot of a culture. Spanish Cultural Food

     SPANISH CULTURAL FOODS,
     PAELLA AND GAZPACHO:

Around the world, many different types of plates are introduced and invented by completely different kinds of cultures. Many of this different types of foods are common and others are unknown. For example, in Spain two commonly known cultural plates are the Gazpacho and the Paella. The Gazpacho recipe consists in a combination of red bell peppers, juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and garlic in a puree. Basically the Gazpacho is a red-look soup rich in nutrients is vital for a good diet. Another commonly known plate in Spain is the Paella. The Paella is made with a paellera which is like a big plate. The Paella contains onions, green pepper, tomatoes, carrots, squid, mussels, rice, parsley, olive oil, clams, prawns, garlic and shrimp. This plate is more known in the city of Valencia and Catalunia. Although this two special plates are originally from the Spanish nation, they are seen in many different countries, even in Colombia! This recipes are easy to make and said to be a delicious spanish cultural plate that is seen all over the whole world.
